- Location: Second nearest airport to Halong Bay, located in Hai Phong City, about 65km from Halong City.
- Flights: Hosts domestic flights to various cities in Vietnam and non-stop international flights to Seoul, Bangkok, and Shenzhen.
- Transportation: Options include taxi, shared car, or bus to Lac Long Station then to Hon Gai pier and Halong Bay.
- Advantages:
- Short distance to Halong Bay.
- Varied and convenient transportation options.
- More abundant international flight options than Van Don Airport.
Noi Bai International Airport:
- Location: Largest airport in Vietnam, located in Hanoi, approximately 170km from Halong Bay.
- Flights: Caters to numerous domestic and international flights.
- Transportation: Options include bus/taxi to Bac Thang Long toll station then bus to Halong Bay, taxi, limousine from Hanoi center, or seaplane.
- Advantages:
- Uniquely provides seaplane service, offering speed and convenience.
- Despite being farthest from Halong, it is the largest and most modern airport.
